Jun. K and Enlistment...How is this Stan handling being a military wife? LOL!!!

Bae has enlisted and it was a shock, but not a surprise. Obviously, I knew he was going to enlist, as I wrote the Blog "So Your Bias Will Enlist". What I didn't know is that he was going to have a little DUI situation and have to basically go on a self-inflicted hiatus. I figured it would happen in the month of May and we all had theories. I wish I had a picture of my work calendar because I wrote down the dates that other idols were enlisting and thought maybe he would go the same day. I was close but wrong. Enlistment date: May 8th.

My initial reaction to his enlistment:
So I hyperventilated a little and dropped a tear or two but I soon got it together and read his letter in several English translations.  I thought for sure Minjun would have posted a pic on Instagram before he enlisted, but after reading the letter, I see that getting into a little trouble publically was very disheartening/disappointing to himself and he took all very seriously as he should. The way he had locked himself up, I thought the next time I was going to see Minjun was on the day his enlistment would be over. LUCKILY someone is the best leaker or poster or Jun. K stan because he has been in the Army for 13 days (Korea Time) and we have so many updates and postings. Honestly, it's like a breath of fresh air. I feel like I am seeing him more than I did before the DUI even.

Insignia
What is awesome is there is a way for me to write a letter to him, which I have drafted and written in hangul and just need to type it on the Korean Military website... www.mil.kr/iletter
This is the 2nd Infantry's Insignia that you have to click to find him.

He even wrote a letter to fans expressing how everyone is getting along and that he was able to learn formations easily (Easier than 2pm's Choreography). I am now feeling proud of him as he is toughing it out better than I once thought and he is even being a leader to his squad in the army. I hope he continues to do well.
I also think it is safe to say that he has a great face without make up. While active with 2pm Kim Min Jun ssi is made up with a lot of make up. There is a great deal of contouring done with his face. 2pm make up artist once said this was due to the fact that his face isn't as symmetric as the others and so this takes more time. All I know is with or without make-up that's MY BAE!!!! I love him. I will continue to wait for him. 627 days left.
Special thanks for the pics to:

WAEYO??? OPPA??? Kim Hyun Joong gets ex girlfriend PREGGO

Ok so 용서 (yongseo, Forgive me)... As a full time teacher, I am just not able to watch KDramas like I could previously BUT the current headlines HAVE to be discussed....

Yes that is what the headline said! According to the article. Kim Hyun Joong apologized for hitting her... OH YeAH that happened... Last July an ex girlfriend of Kim- Ssi went to the police and accused him of hitting her and leaving injuries. He ADMIT to one instance of domestic abuse, but denied it led to any injuries. All she wanted was a public/private apology and she decided again pressing charges. He was still fined as he admitted to having assaulted her once. NOW after all of this which did not help his career and probably put a slight damper on his Mr. Perfect image it is now announced that he has gotten this same chick, who's is now known as Choi, PREGGO??? SMH.

Oh Alien Prince... 2014-2015 just has not made any sense (to me at least). It seems that according to a close friend Kim who is probably most loved for his role on the Kdrama Boys over Flowers and being leader of the Kpop boy band SS501 was sincere about his apology and rekindle the love with the "victim" Choi. She is now 10 weeks preggo. Her due date is in September and families are on board with a future marriage... only problem... enlistment. He already postponed his October 2014 enlistment date to March 2015. Enlistment for 2 years in Korea is mandatory for every male. He has just recently ended his Japanese tour "Gemini" which went well... reception in Japan for KHJ is still very high.
Seems like this year has been like a real Kdrama for Kim Hyun Joong. Although this is coming from left field, catching us off guard, I can only wish him and his family the best of the luck in the future. In the meantime I still need to process this whole thing. I think I will just remember the best of Kim Hyun Joong....

Hencia it will be ok!!!!

Kim Jae Wook drops out of Inspiring Generation

After getting over my disbelief and doing some research it appears Kim Jae Wook has dropped out of Inspiring Generation.

According to www.kdramastars.com his management has this to say: "Due to inevitable circumstances, we've decided to drop out.  We're sorry because you must have had high expectations.  We're trying to come back soon with a great piece so please look forward to more with a patient mind.  We hope you continue to support "Generation of Youth.'"

Now I really didn't want to believe this as his storyline was just getting good and I was just beginning to like his character, but after doing a little research and checking his official facebook page, it appears this is very true.

According to Kpopstarz.com  Kim  Jae Wook said: "They say it takes time for an actor to feel comfortable acting again after his release from the military, but I thought I would be an exception. It turns out, however, that I do need time, and I′m still trying to adjust not only to acting but also to being a member of society again." Kim Jae Wook enlisted in the military  July 2011 to complete the mandatory 21 months of service. He was discharged April 2013.  This could have still been a problem for Kim Jae Wook as there are many fighting scenes and some violence, of course I don't know how much the South Korean Military gets in such situations I am sure they practice with guns and such but all seems quiet. Of course unless you have been in the military on does not know the changes that takes place in ones life after joining the military.

Before Kim Jae Wook left the show it was announced that there would be some changes with the writers as in the head writer left and a new writer replaced this head writer. More about the writing switch up can be found at http://www.dramabeans.com/2014/02/age-of-feeling-makes-sudden-writer-switch/ .

Fans were just getting to like Kim Jae Wook's character,Kim Soo-ok,  as he plays the second male lead (love interest) to the character Ok Reyeon who although in love with Kim Hyun Joong's Shin Jung Tae was beginning to cozy up to Kim Soo-ok.

Kim Jae Wook is known for his role in the drama Coffee Prince.

Inspiring Generation (Age of Feeling) is considered Kim Hyun Joong's big comeback to drama as he hasn't been in a drama since 2010's Playful Kiss.
