The hustle and bustle of first year teacherdom turned out to be pretty crazy!! BUT I think I have it under control now... which means...I am ready to try to get back into the KDRAMA!!!! BUT I have no idea where to go... I haven't finished the Lee Min Ho collection I was working the old drama, I Am Sam, and I started Faith a while ago...Also I haven't seen Personal Taste yet, BUT I am thinking I want to see a new drama. Now Rain was in a drama recently called My Lovely Girl and although he is a fine specimen to look at I am not a fan of Krystal Jung. She did not move me in The Heirs. I feel like I have been away from drama. I have watched a few movies but I really want to take some of my Christmas break and just watch drama all day and all night long... So what should I watch Kdrama addicts! Please help me out!!! Comment and let me know what is the best drama I should marathon!

A Love to Kill (2005) A Complete summary (SPOILERS)

I just finished watching A Love to Kill starring Rain and Shin Min Ah and all I can say is  AISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A drama about revenge and love. Actress, Cha Eun Seok (Shin Min Ah) is distraught after breaking up from her boyfriend. CEO Kim Joon Sung (Lee Ki Woo) and Cha Eun Seok find themselves in a bad disposition due to Eun Seok's drinking. Meanwhile fighter Kang Bokgu (Rain) and his "girlfriend" Han Da Jeong (Kim Sang Ra)  was bullying people into paying money owed to her. The link to each other was Kang Mingu (Kim Young-jae). Kang Mingu was Kang Bokgu's brother, and Cha Eun Seok's ex-boyfriend. They all meet when just after Bokgu and Mingu are reunited, whether it's an accident on the brother's part or purposely Mingu jumps from the roof of the build in which he lives after seeing the announcement of Eun Seok and Joon Sung's engagement (which was Kim Joon Sung's idea of fixing the situation they were in because of her drunkardness). Bokgu blames Eun Seok and develops his plan to destroy her, so when a job comes up to become Cha Eun Seok's bodyguard he gets it in order to become close to her. Eun Seok ends up falling in love with Bokgu and he falls in love with her as well. Which makes Kim Joon Sung pull all kinds of stunts that only rich people can pull (send people to lock up the mom, sue the family, etc). It's when Eun Seok decides to run away with Bokgu who then says it was all a game and he never really loved her. Its revealed that Mingu is Bokgu's

brother. From there things just get kind of jumbled as they have to close the storyline. At this point I feel like they dragged the story along. And I have forgotten to mention the fact the Da Jeong was JEALOUS as hell because of he insecurities with herself. BACKSTORY Da Jeong saved Bokgu after a fight and a fire set out. She was burned in the process and as we know in South Korea, looks are a big deal blemishes are not cool! This was basically the reason Bokgu was with her as he pitied her as they say numerous times during the drama. When she found out the Bokgu was Eun Seok's bodyguard she was so jealous. Bokgu assures her its for a reason and he would be back to her soon. This is when he breaks Eun Heart, and send Eun Seok down spiraling into craziness. Bokgu also begins to spiral. In an effort to get her out of his life (as he was in love but didn't want to be) he "moved" his brother (he had him moved to another room) and made it so that Eun Seok couldn't see Mingu. What was sad was that she felt bad about Mingu because she had loved him and made promises to him, but was also in love with Bokgu. A Year passes, of course as fate would have it Bokgu and Eun Seok meet again. He lies and says the brother died, but of course come to find out the brother is with him alive but disabled. Eun Seok takes Mingu and begins carrying for him, but then he starts doing things like slapping tea out of her hands and other things that cause her alot of physical pain. Come to find out what he wants is for Bokgu and Eun Seok to be together he expesses this when he is hospitalized again. His last wish
for Bokgu was for him to take care of Eun Seok. He dies and then things REALLY spiral out of control for Bokgu and Eun Seok. He stops eating, picks a fight with anyone for any little thing and drinks heavily. Eun Seok eats and eats and eats until she's on the verge of vomiting. This is when Da Jeong sees that Bokgu isn't hers and that Eun Seok can help AND Kim Joon Sung sees that Eun Seok isn't his and Bokgu can help her. Bokgu and Eun Seok conclude that they can't really be together but decide to spend a day together doing whatever they want all day. They promised to live life to the fullest. After that day they did just that and lived. Everything seemed cool until Kim Joon Sung went to see Bokgu saying that he had hoped to find Eun Seok with him and that she had been missing for 3 days. Bokgu goes looking for her where they had spent their day together. BTW this is going on during the winter. After looking as its going into the night he finally finds her asleep on the ground. She is freezing and has basically lost most of her body heat. He tries to carry her, but has lost most of his energy and sits to hold her hoping his body heat will warm her only he freezes too... they freeze together in each others arms.
THE END!

The reason I summarized it this way is because this drama had me going crazy. I love happy ending and that is what I was waiting for. I wanted Bokgu and Eun Seok to be together. I never expected them to die in the end, which was the only time I shed a tear. The drama made me furious as fas as the storyline goes, only because I am always hoping for a happy ending. I had NEVER seen Lee Ki Woo as such a character. I mean he was the second male lead. I saw him as the second male lead in Flowerboy Ramen Shop, but he wasn't despicable. Rain was amazing. He's looks rather gruffy throughout BUT he is so sexy.
His mannerism. He would bite his bottom lip and let it bounce back out and there was one kiss with Shin Min Ah that I sweat I FELT! LOL!!! Shin Min Ah, she is also incredible. I enjoy the acting of all the actors and actresses BUT the ending upset me so much I almost wanted to give K-Drama's up. Unfortunately I am addicted and I'll just watch a romance comedy next time.

Overwhelmed in Drama

I want to watch KDrama and write more blogs but...I am sooooooo OVERWHELMED!
Watching Kdrama requires time and attention. First of all even in all my attempts to learn Korean I still can't watch Kdrama without subtitles, which means when I watch Kdrama I sit down and watch. I have to try and make sure I am reading and watching the actors. So unlike other shows that I can put on and listen too while I wash dishes, Kdrama has to receive my full attention. AND you can't have a Kdrama without a Marathon....
I can't have a KDrama marathon in my life right now. I stayed up late on the phone one night and it felt like my body made up for it for like 3 days. Previously I have marathoned,  I marathoned my first drama "flower boy ramen shop", I marathoned "moon embracing the sun" and "Answer Me 1997" but I made Kdrama a family affair, so my mom and I have marathoned kdrama and my brother and I marathoned once...(YES my namdongsaeng). Some how my brother really got into School 2013 and my mom and I had the time of our lives watching "City Hunter."
Only problem is now I feel guilty if I watch a drama without my mom. LOL! Even though I have started one without her recently AND I went ahead and watched more of a Drama while she slept. LOL!!!  Recently though its not just my guilt that keeps me from KDrama its the overwhelming amount of dramas to watch. For instance I want to watch Emergency Couple, Two Weeks, Doctor Strange, Secret Love Affair, etc... but the dramas don't stop coming out and worst...there are 4 drama's I have started and need to finish. I started: Lee Min Ho's Faith (The Good Doctor, with my mom) Golden Rainbow (Also with my mom), I am Sam (I am teacher) and My Princess. AND I am invested into these dramas so there is no, oh I just give up. ANIO!!! I have to finish them. I also want to write blogs....For instance I finished  You Who Came from the Stars (My love from the stars)  and I want to blog about that one... YOU ARE MY DESTINY!!!! LMAO only fans of that show get that.... I want to finish the Lee Min Ho Collection, which for me are the dramas, I am Sam (very small role for him) Faith, and Personal Taste. I guess Unstoppable High Kick is also on the list but not just for him, Jung Il Woo, and Kim Bum were also apart of that drama. In the meantime I have been watching KMovies, because they have been easier to watch than the dramas. 118 minutes is a lot easier than 118 minutes per 16 episodes. I don't know what to do.... so with being overwhelmed I just don't watch any.... I gotta get it together!

#Prayforsouthkorea #sewolferry #StayStrongSouthKorea

When situations occur in the world sometimes my reaction time is slow. In the wake of the Sewol Ferry Incident I realize it may be insensitive for me to continue blogging about K-Drama as the country who makes these dramas is torn and grief stricken. So I would just like to take a moment to show respect to those affected, and to those who have lost their lives. We don't know why bad things occur to the innocent, but all in all their must be some reason. Kdrama/Kpop addicts, and people who care please have a moment of silence/ pray for South Korea.

And also with that moment of silence/prayers for South Korea let us also take the time to have a moment of silence/prayers for the Malaysian flight that is still missing....

KDrama Themes: Rachet Moms ( and Step moms and grandmas)

If you thought Cinderella's step-mother was the worst, KDrama moms make her look like Mary Poppins. I re-read that sentence and thought: "Am I exaggerating," and realized no I am not.

First let me just state this, starting this blog and attempting to work on it the way that I really want to made me realize I haven't watched enough Kdramas. I am trying to figure out how I can watch more so that I can provide better examples, because one day we will all be tired of references to "Boys Over Flowers."

SIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Right "Boys Over Flowers give Drama-addicts life!
So let's start there:

Goo Jun Pyo's (Lee Min Ho) mother... Kang Hee-soo aka President Kang. Seriously this woman is known for some of the most down right awful situations. Her son Goo Jun Pyo, the rich boy, meets Geum Jan Di, the poor (I would say middle class because they were making it, to me I think it is ok for a teen to have a job, makes for good work ethic skills, regardless she was quite poor for the likes of President Kang). Kang was very controlling of  Goo Jun Pyo anyway, but then he had to go and fall in love with the poor girl. Mother couldn't have this. She put so many obstacles in from of Goo Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di, like how about the time she had her kidnapped.Or the fact that she had kept her husband who was in a coma but alive in a secret place, but told everyone include her children that he was dead, which really drove both of her children to literally hate her. As the K-Drama audience we kind of hate her, but it it wasn't for her the main characters really wouldn't have any obstacles that literally make the show worth while (aside from the sexy F4).

2013's drama That Winter The Wind Blows (starring the super handsome oppa Jo In Sung and one of our beloved F4 members Kim Bum), is another drama with an Evil Matriarch.Wang Hye-ji – Officially a secretary, she runs the company and is Oh Young's caretaker. She is not really her mother but step's into the role after years of being in an affair with the father. Of course Oh Young was sort of a "bitter blind b*tch" as she wasn't very kind to this secretary, but Ms. Wang deserved it as she knew the condition Oh Young was in with having something on the brain causing her blindness but never had it taken care of with a simple surgery. This made Oh Young rely on Ms. Wang even though she didn't fully trust Wang.  That's a pretty difficult life to live to be blind and know the person caring for you is the reason you are blind and behind the divorce of your parents.

We see evil mothers and step mothers but how about grandmothers? In Moon Embracing the Sun, there was, Queen Dowager Jung-hui, Mother of King Sungjo and Grandmother of Lee Hwon (Played by Kim Hyun Soo who was in the recent hit "You Who Came From the Stars") Talk about Bad Grandma...this lady put a hit out on the girl her grandson had fallen for, because of political reasons. Luckily the "shaman" who was ask to take the little girl out had been asked by her late sister to keep the girl safe. So instead of killing her she made it seem like the girl died then hid her for many years. But Karma is can be a bigger b*tch than these evil mothers. Let's just the Queen didn't fair so well in the end.

Other mothers aren't evil so much as they have just made poor decisions or good decisions that their son or daughter mistook for a poor decision such as in the drama Padam Padam, where we the character Yang Kang-chil, played by sexy Oppa Jung Woo Sung (go to Netflix and watch his movies you laugh, you will cry, and you will fall in love with him) calls his mom for help and watches her basically hang up on him. He took it as his mother didn't love him and abandoned him, come to find out his mother only didn't want him around as there was a detective that came around looking for him and mom was trying to protect him.

There are MANY other evil mothers, but this sort of gives you a clue about the evil mothers of Kdrama. We hate them but let's face it without them we wouldn't have the obstacles that out beloved main characters must get thru during the storyline.

Inspiring Generation Finale Episodes 23-24

SOOOOOOOO..... if you haven't watched yet do not read any futher....

OK REYEON dies... she knows that Hwangbang had poison for Jung Tae and because she couldn't bare to see anything happen to him she switched cups and drank his, then died in his arms shortly their after. She dies and Jung Tae goes as I like to say "Ape Shit" running all through Bamsamtong to Hwangbang, until Jung Jae Hwa talked sense into him. Then Jung Tae began to use his mind and came up with a plan.

Throughout episode 23 and 24 we see Jung Tae scare the crap out of the leader of Hwangbang. In Episode 24 it seemed that Hwangbang had gotten the upper hand setting a trap for the Bamsamtong gang. Shin Jung Tae could be compared to a super hero as he fights a guy who is apparently famous and known as the tiger style of fighting master. Shin Jung Tae must be the master because he took him out. Still it seemed like Hwangbang was about to take Bamsamtong but some General and the military comes out of no where and takes ALL of them Bamsamtong and Hwangbang. He talks to the leader of Hwangbang who lies, but the general already had documents proving he was lying and locked him up. Now all Shin Jung Tae asked for was for the Joeson people of Bamsamtong have a safety area. The General said he would see what he could do... in the mean time WHAT ABOUT THE IL GOOK HWE????

Well Aoki set up a plan to take over Bamsamtong before it could become a safety zone, unfortunately for him Gaya loves Jung Tae too much for him not to be warned. He comes and takes of the rest of the guys that Jung Jae Hwa didn't get and then fights Aoki who never could fight. Then the official message comes in that Bamsamtong will be a safety zone and Il Gook Hwe has to leave them alone. And in the end Gaya brings Chung Ah to Shin Jung Tae.

Now I really loved Inspiring Generation it was a great drama. It had so much action and melodrama. There was romance and there was hate, but for me it sort of failed towards the end because it seemed rushed and I think that throughout the drama they tried to put way too many story arcs in it. I really wanted to see more with Jung Tae and Chung Ah but they only gave this situation like two minutes and the show was over. Jung Tae gets neither girl as Ok Reyeon dies and Gaya goes on bout her business with Aoki and the Japanese. I guess with any drama you have to just say that the rest of the characters went on to live happily ever after.

Overall I was pleased to see Kim Hyun Joong as a character like this, fighting, and being like a man. He has always been a flower boy, but Jung Tae is a long cry from Ji Hoo; although we can fall in love with both. Was his acting better than before? I am not sure. I love Kim Hyun Joong so I am bias, BUT I can say his eyes act well. I am not sure. He still seems just as stoic as he has been in other programs. He is never given a character that is multifaceted but then again you can't say he plays the same characters either. Ji Hoo was a hopeless romantic who was rather stoic. Baek Sueng Jo was a child genius who was set in his ways and spoiled (to a degree) also very stoic. BUT then again looking at the word stoic, Shin Jung Tae wasn't stoic he was also ways showing emotions, especially anger.

Inspiring Generation seems like it was going to be a long road of fights and more fights, but now looking back I feel like it was really short. Now I am wondering what I will do on Wednesday and Thursday night?!?

Kim Hyun Joong: OST Inspiring Generation "When Today Passes"

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Here were are!!! I knew he just HAD to sing a song for HIS own show RIGHT!!!!!!

WHAT DO YOU THINK????

Inspiring Generation!!! 17-22!!!

So I have to apologize... I went to a comic convention and never had a chance to #1 watch any episodes of Inspiring Generation and #2 I never had a chance to blog. So I have quite a bit to go over. So I'll do it the best I can with lots of pics...

Episode 17:

Jung Jae Hwa had his grand re-opening of the Shanghai Club. Ok Reyeon gets to sing but backstage.  It is during such time that Hwangbang threatens Leader Mo and forces him to fight Shin Jung Tae in order to regain some of his stability and to keep Hwangbang from killing his family. In a weird turn of events Shin Jung Tae beats Leader Mo. Also during this the Director of Intelligence Aoki has arrested Ok Reyeon in which Shin Jung Tae goes to get her, but gets caught by Aoki.

 Episode 18/Episode 19:

In this episode Shin Jung Tae has gone after Ok Reyeon, but gets caught by Aoki. Shin Jung Tae then fights Aoki who punks out and brings out the firing squad, but before they can shoot Gaya sets the place on fire and they have to go take care of that, in the mean time DoGgo has
Ok Reyeon and cons her into signing paperwork for Hwangbang. So Hwangbang finds that Ok Reyeon is Shin Jung Tae's heart. Also Gaya reports to Il Gook Hwe everything that has occurred. Also On the low Hwangbang use a group of Mongolians to attack the people of Bamgsamtong and the actually killed about 10 people. This makes Jung Jae Hwa look to be a bad "owner."

Episode 20:
In this episode Shin Jung Tae and Jung Jae Hwa have to fight. Shin Jung Tae beats Jung Jae Hwa and was trying to uncover what Hwang Bang had done by bringing the Mongolian who attack the town to confess who had told them to do it but before they could get it out the assistant leader of Hwang Bang killed them. Meanwhile at Il Gook Hwe the Boss is mad at everyone from Gaya to Aoki. He messing up Shinichi pretty bad making him unable to us his arm. He also puts out a hit on him, basically letting any and everyone know that if you see him take him out there is a reward. Gaya also comes at the big boss wrong as she talks all about how her mother loved a Joseon man (Korean) and was killed for it and she also says that she loves a joseon man (shin jung tae). Il Gook Hwe is falling. Also Ok Reyeon draws a map for Shin Jung Tae so that he can know his way through Hwangbang. While Shinichi brings some very important docs to Hwangbang.  A fight ensues.

Episode 21: First I just have to say Shin Jung Tae is a beast!!! He is a strong fighter and he thinks on his feets. He ninjas to HwangBang to save Ok Reyeon but ends up only really saving Gaya. (Go figure) But it is in this episode that with him, Leader Mo and the help of others he is able to create a plan that will cause HwangBang and Il Gook Hwe to attack each other in hopes to deplete Hwangbangs men while taking down Il Gook Hwe. We see Shin Jung Tae and friends blitz Il Gook Hwe. It is in this episode Shin Jung Tae and Gaya their first tender moment since their last when they were kids. AND!!!!! KIM HYUN JOONG's OST plays in the background yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OOOOOOOO and by the way AOKI kills Il Gook Hwe's leader Denichi. Takes him right out!

Episode 22:
The Plan goes into action and it is a success, they deplete both Hwangbang and Il Gook Hwe. In the light of victory Shin Jung Tae ask to marry Ok Reyeon and they are wed. That is the most Important aspect of the episode to me LOL!!! BUT what will happen next. I have seen some spoilers for episode 23 so I am ready to cry my eyes out :(

Inspiring Generation Weekly Review Episodes 15/16

Yes Finally Shin Jung Tae realizes he is a pawn in this situation (The war between Hwangbang, and Il Gook Hwe). Finally he sees that there is something fishy about Hwangbang. Now he is starting to think instead of just fight. He goes to Hwangbang and asks if the leader, Seol Doo- Sung, to be his surrogate father as Jung Tae is now parent-less, of course Jung Tae did it in front of everyone in town and it would have looked terrible if the old man declined. So Jung Tae was adopted by Seol- Doo- Sung in a Chinese ceremony, making it almost impossible for Seol Doo Sung to kill Jung Tae it will make him look bad morally. Then Jung Tae says he wants to learn under Jae Hwa. He's sort of screwing with Hwangbang. The episode ends with Jung Tae and Jae Hwa back to back under attack at Club Shanghai, which is rather interesting to see these two together as they were once at odds. The TALK of episode 15 has nothing to do with Jung Tae fighting or trying take revenge for his fathers death, but was all about Kim Hyun Joong and his almost naked scenes, which lasted all of 5 seconds LOL!!! But it was kind of a big deal. I guess a bath in this time period, in this particular drama is the shower scene equivalent. Regardless thanks Korean Drama Gods because we love Kim Hyun Joong but more importantly we like him naked. Especially with the definition of muscles!!!

Here are some stills to further the imagination:
So episode 15 leaves us with Jung Tae and Jae Hwa in a bind, and it is with episode 16 that Leader Mo returns, unfortunately even though he helps the two in their situation he is there to take Club Shanghai and become the owner. It seems though that Hwangbang didn't mention that Shin Jung Tae had anything to do with the club and Leader Mo was like "what's up with that" in so many words. It was obvious to Leader Mo that Hwangbang had something again Jung Tae and was trying to get rid of him without having to do it themselves as Jung Tae was his "Son". In the mean time Aoki Doyama (the guy who gave Gaya the tip when she had to battle that one guy back in the day) he is in town and lets Gaya know that she needs to make more progress or it will be her life. Of course you can see he is in love with her so, I am wondering about that statement. Also while digging up info about Shin Jung Tae, Aoki Doyama is told of Ok Reyon's situation from the past when she killed ol' boy who was obviously of importance so I am nervous about her fate.
How cute are Jung Tae and Ok Reyeon? How hilarious was it when he walked in on Ok Reyeon about to get a shot of some medicine in her booty. And then he acts rather regular about seeing her butt saying he saw it as a child. They are becoming a loving couple so now I feel like I need to hold on to my seat because the more loving they become the more likely their relationship will have a tragic fate. So we are at Club Shanghai's grand opening and the rumor is that Leader Mo will fight Shin Jung Tae. Of course Hwangbang threatens to have Leader Mo's whole family murdered if he doesn't fight and beat Jung Tae. So Leader Mo is in a predicament as he has to think about his conscience as if was Jung Tae's father who saved him years ago in which he had debt to Jung Tae.
This drama takes me through a lot changes, so many FEELZ coming over me. GREAT Actors, GREAT characters!!! Next Week we will see episodes 17/18, which actually makes me sad as this is a 24 episode drama. So we are getting so close to the end. :-( I really don't know what will happen in the end. I really want Shin Jung Tae to live see that his sister didn't die, and marry Ok Reyeon living happily in some part of Asia. But that is just my wishful thinking... We should prepare for more fights!

K-Drama Actor Spotlight: Kim Sung Oh

It seems like all of Korea can be seen in Inspiring Generation. Everytime I turn around I am like oh wait he's from *Insert Drama here*.  I think I already mentioned Kim Sung Oh but this time I decide to spot light him.

I know him from When A Man Loves (2013), where he was the older brother of  a young man who had fallen for the boss' "girl". The boss played by Song Seung Heon was also besties with Kim Sung Oh's character who had gone to jail instead on Song Seung Heon. This is apart the drama to unfold as the younger brother puts everything together.

Kim Sung Oh was also in the Kdrama, Secret Garden (2010). This is one of the dramas that I have heard so much about yet still haven't taken the time to marathon. Apparently the main theme of  Secret Garden is a body swap where the main characters pull a "Freaky Friday" and must live each others lives.

He is also well known for the KMovie, The Man From Nowhere which can currently be seen on Netflix.( I think I'll watch tonight or sometime soon.)  Kim Sung Oh plays a thug and apparently a playboy.

Although he is a great actor, what really caught  my attention was the fact that he has light eyes. Lights aren't eve my thing, but WOW!

Kim Sung Oh has lots of other roles on his list of work and I am sure the list will grow after his role on Inspiring Generation.

Inspiring Generation Episodes 13/14 The Feelz... The Fights...The Frienemies!!!!

OMO OMO OMO OMO OMO!!!!

Inspiring Generations is reaching a boiling point.  First off episode 13…. FEELZ!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry this one is a SPOILER for sure so if you are not watching then don’t read this, if you watch regularly then go ahead and read this to relive all the FEELZ!!! For instance as I mentioned before EPISODE 13!!!! Shin Jung Tae basically proposed to Ok Reyeon saying that he wanted to live the rest of his days beside her and then they shared an intimate kiss that I can’t be jealous about because I totally “ship” Shin Jung Tae and Ok Reyeon.

One thing that everyone seems to realizes in both episodes 13/14 is that  Deguchi Gaya is definately the one who killed Shin Jung Tae's Father (previous owner of Shanghai apparently). Luckily for Gaya she is using the right to claim that she did it as by request from the deceased as he had been attacked by someone and was dying slowly. He wanted his life ended so not to be in tortured in agony of internal bleeding. On the other side Gaya realizes who attacked Jung Tae's father, which brings in the irony of the drama. Evidence shows that the Assistant Leader of Hwangbang was the one who beat Jung Tae's father and in further scenes, the leader of Hwangbang and the assistant leader pretty much say they did it during a conversation together. All the while Jung Tae doesn't know or realize any of this. How about how Jung Tae barges into Gaya's spot and fights/beats all her guys like its nothing???
And when he goes to her and she says she killed his father that look on his face was like he had gone mad, I really didn't know if he wanted to kill her or kiss her LOL!!!! Gaya tells him that she always believed that he was truthful in the fact that his father hadn't killed her father, which is evidence that Jung Tae is in her heart. But I am wondering if he is done with the Feelz he once had for her or is he just needing time to get his head right about all of it? I am really wondering about their fates. What will come of them? Who will live? Who will die? Will Jung Tae be with the sweet loving Ok Reyeon or will he die with Gaya because I have a feeling she has an ill fate ahead. I think alot of characters will die. And since when does the Princess of Il Gook Hwae tell the enemy to go become the owner of Bamgsamtong???

Now in Episode 14 Jung Jae Hwa asks Shin Jung Tae to work under him in which Jung Tae is like Wae? Before they can get into it the others run to tell Jung Jae Hwa that the "police" are out beating people and asking for papers which is a surprise because these particular "police" don't usually do it on that particular day. Especially since the other group was doing it on the same day. The Leader of Hwangbang ordered that to show Jung Jae Hwa who was the true owner of Bamgsamtong. Of course when Jung Tae sees the police beating all the people, he goes into action and starts fight the police. He would have gotten away with it if that dummy Jung Jae Hwa hadn't of sucker punched him and allowed the police to grab him and says that he should be put in federal pen. Unfortunately for Jung Jae Hwa the people of Bamgsamtong saw Jung Tae the way he saw his father, as a hero. Now the chick that hangs with Ok Reyeon who Jung Jae Hwa wants to get with is sketchy because she tells him the only way for him to become the owner of Bamgsamtong is to kill Jung Tae. Yet she also is the one who treats Jung Tae's wounds and knows that Ok Reyeon is in love with him so what gives??? I swear the only person who truely loves Jung Tae is Ok Reyeon. Shinichi makes his way to Shanghai as word goes out that Gaya let Jung Tae walk in and out of her spot alive. Excuse me but does it seem like Shinichi and that one Military dude seem to be in love with Gaya????? Seems like they want to protect her for personal reasons than for Il Gook Hwae.  The military guy who has now become a public affairs officer shows up, with Shinichi comes Dgoo and the last scenes Shinchi and the assistant leader of Hwang Bang fight and during this fight Dgoo whispering in Jung Tae's ear about how the assistants fighting style creates a terrible bruise on the chest, which is the same bruise Jung Tae's father had, on his chest.... so now Jung Tae has the idea in his head, in the meantime, Gaya is questioning Hwang Bang about the death of her mother.

By the way... its so hard keeping up with characters' names.... GEESH!!!

Noona and the Namdongsaeng

Even though Flower Boy Ramen Shop was my first Noona (Old sister/older woman)/Namdongsaeng (Little brother/younger man) KDrama romance I witnessed, Eun B. and Cha Chi Soo weren't the ones who really set this theme off for me.  The Noona/Namdongsaeng relationship that really wowed me was the "relationship" between Min Seo-hyun and Yoon Ji-hoo from Boys Over Flowers. It is safe to say that Boys Over Flowers will be used to discuss all the themes as it uses all the themes you could think of... including for a brief moment Noona/Namdongsaeng. Ji Hoo was really caught up on his noona. I mean Geum Jandi finds him at a bus stop looking like this:
I mean his face is up against an outdoor advertisement in like public. Smh... but more importantly I am sure fans can't forget this scene:
Now obviously in this senarios Noona is not always your real big sis. Noona is that women you looked at like a big sis when you were small and then somewhere down the line (puberty more than likely) noona became the woman you want to be with...I mean if you are are that guy. It might be the cougar in me but I love the idea of Noona/dongsaeng romances, no Korea Dramas like to have high schoolers fall in love with teachers, but that is way risque for me as I am a teacher...sure its fun to watch, but in America you will LOSE your job. Of course in Flower Boy Ramen Shop we see Eun B. leave the teaching profession, but that was more so to more the storyline towards the ramen shop.
Another thing that makes drama fans gravitate towards Noona/Dongsaeng relationships is the the passion show by the dongsaeng. I mean they really love noona. Please watch Ji Hoo in the above video again!!! LOL!!!  Or watch this....
The young boys swear they are in love. Which usually this turns out to be correct. Unfortunately even though I am clearly a noona myself, I haven't watch many Noona Dongsaeng situations, but for info check out this post that I found... which gives a list of Noona/Dongsaeng to try.

Inspiring Generation Episode 11/12 review... SO MANY FEELZ!!!!

Shin Jung Tae finally realizes  what kind of man his father was and forgives him for abandoning him, his sister and his mother. Since Poong Cha and his father passed Jung Tae has shown a lot of emotions, which means Kim Hyun Joong has had to find this place in his acting skills and he has been successful. Previously Jung Tae broke down over Poong Cha, but last night he basically collasped at his father's funeral.

Unfortunately Jung Tae is still unaware that all these gangs are using him as a pawn to gain or maintain power. Episode 12 proves that to all of them Jung Tae is pretty much expendable.

Now I have a PREDICTION about Gaya/Jung Tae/ Ok Reyeon....

Gaya  and Jung Tae won't be together, because Gaya is probably gonna be the reason Jung Tae dies or  appears to die. If Jung Tae dies the story will end with Ok Reyeon finding out in the end that Jung Tae always loved her or they will be together.

THIS IS JUST A PREDICTION!!!!

Oh and Episode 12 gave us an explanation for the sudden disappearance of Kim Soo Ok. Ok Reyeon says: "That man that helped me also died."

Guess the new writers couldn't think of anything spectacular.

I'm nervous about this drama. I really wanted this one to excel for Kim Hyun Joong prior to his enlistment. It seems that he will be entering the military in October 2014.

Maybe he will put out more music before he goes in, or maybe SS501 will have another special reunion concert.

One can always wish/hope/pray!!!

Kim Jae Wook drops out of Inspiring Generation

After getting over my disbelief and doing some research it appears Kim Jae Wook has dropped out of Inspiring Generation.

According to www.kdramastars.com his management has this to say: "Due to inevitable circumstances, we've decided to drop out.  We're sorry because you must have had high expectations.  We're trying to come back soon with a great piece so please look forward to more with a patient mind.  We hope you continue to support "Generation of Youth.'"

Now I really didn't want to believe this as his storyline was just getting good and I was just beginning to like his character, but after doing a little research and checking his official facebook page, it appears this is very true.

According to Kpopstarz.com  Kim  Jae Wook said: "They say it takes time for an actor to feel comfortable acting again after his release from the military, but I thought I would be an exception. It turns out, however, that I do need time, and I′m still trying to adjust not only to acting but also to being a member of society again." Kim Jae Wook enlisted in the military  July 2011 to complete the mandatory 21 months of service. He was discharged April 2013.  This could have still been a problem for Kim Jae Wook as there are many fighting scenes and some violence, of course I don't know how much the South Korean Military gets in such situations I am sure they practice with guns and such but all seems quiet. Of course unless you have been in the military on does not know the changes that takes place in ones life after joining the military.

Before Kim Jae Wook left the show it was announced that there would be some changes with the writers as in the head writer left and a new writer replaced this head writer. More about the writing switch up can be found at http://www.dramabeans.com/2014/02/age-of-feeling-makes-sudden-writer-switch/ .

Fans were just getting to like Kim Jae Wook's character,Kim Soo-ok,  as he plays the second male lead (love interest) to the character Ok Reyeon who although in love with Kim Hyun Joong's Shin Jung Tae was beginning to cozy up to Kim Soo-ok.

Kim Jae Wook is known for his role in the drama Coffee Prince.

Inspiring Generation (Age of Feeling) is considered Kim Hyun Joong's big comeback to drama as he hasn't been in a drama since 2010's Playful Kiss.

Inspiring Generation Episode 9/10 Weekly review SPOILERS!

Shin Jung Tae....GEESH!!! As soon as he makes friends, he makes enemies.

Ok so first Poong Cha did not kill Dobi leader Hwang Bong-Sik, he just put him in a sleeper hold, because he knew that he would have stopped him from going to the Ill Gook Hwa camp to get Jung Tae. OH MY GOD the reactions from Hwang Bong Sik and Shin Jung Tae when they found out Poong Cha was gone. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I mean!! I have never heard a man scream like a female in that way before, I was totally unprepared for Hwang Bong Sik's reaction.
 Shin Jung Tae....
The FEELZ... even though Kim Hyun Joong is my bias I am still looking at his acting very closely as he has been criticized in the past for not doing well, which I wonder how they could have criticized him for Ji Hoo (Boys Over Flowers), I think he did well as the romantic aloof  prodigy, because that is who he is AND Baek Seung Jo (Playful Kiss) is a non-romantic aloof prodigy SAME thing if not more so as Kim Hyun Joong has been noted to have said that he is not all into the romantic lovey dovey. So Shin Jung Tae is actually a challenge as he is not a gangster or fighter. BUT he is still aloof. I think that is just a male lead trait. I am watching closely, which is why I have been upset that Kim Hyun Joong wasn't previously in many scenes. Now I am seeing more and basically when I am watch Inspiring Generation I am watching Shin Jung Tae NOT Kim Hyun Joong. This is good!!!

HOW ABOUT I was right about the fact that even though there was an adult Shin Jung Tae we still weren't caught up... they even showed all of episode 1's introduction scenes.
I would just like to say that I am totally disgusted in the fact that  Gaya loves Shin Jung Tae AND worst that Shin Jung Tae loves Gaya. We know what happens in such situations, being that this drama is all about fighting and troubles, it seems that there will be a tragic ending.... do you think the Kdrama world will do this to us? They did it to us with 49 Days, remember that ending with the characters standing at the graves of the ones they loved? Of course Jung Tae still has to discover the whereabouts of his sister Cheng Ah.

How about my discovery... There are soooooo many characters involved in this drama and it seems like I keep finding connections to other dramas, like Song Jae Rim who I noted in the review of Episode 8.
First I should mention Sunbae Jung Ho Bin who plays Wang Baek-San. He was also in Boys Over Flowers. But as Shin Jung Tae meets the guy who had been his father's right hand man, Jung Jae-Hwa, played by, Kim Sung-Oh I thought to myself: Wait I know him from something....Was he in the drama When A Man Loves? I was right. This is a HUGE cast so of course there will be connections to other dramas.

How about the reunion with Ok Reyeon? She is the that nice sweet girl who would like him to stop fighting, unfortunately she doesn't understand the world that he is involved in... I was so made when she sees him in the middle of the fight and screams out to stop fighting, then he gets clocked right upside the head. AISH!!!!
But I am glad that they have found each other again and I hope she doesn't mess him up any more but I am sure she will...
His facial expression is priceless when he sees her. Like I said this is not like Kim Hyun Joong. When I am watching Inspiring Generation I see Shin Jung Tae. When the show is over I scream out SHIN JUNG TAE!!!!!!!!!!! When its Tuesday and I patiently await Wednesday I am like omg I can't wait to see Shin Jung Tae! When I am listening to SS501 I am like Kim Hyun Joong is my Bias. I love Kim Hyun Joong. My point is that if I can separate the character from the actor then he must be doing a good job. From some of the articles that come out of Korea, the drama is doing well in ratings, but that is not all because of Kim Hyun Joong. Its a great show! But then again I am bias LOL!!!!

Shin Jung Tae is VERY Popular!!! Episode 8

First I would like to say that I apologize to those who read/follow my blog and check for updates. Between not knowing how to put the awesomeness that is Kim Hyun Joong into words,  watching two other dramas at the same time AND having to work... getting this post going was difficult.

BUT

Episode 8 was great and once again even with the short scene time of Kim Hyun Joong, I fall in love with him more and more each episode.

It's his eyes.

It seems like Shin Jung Tae has become very popular among those who are both allies and enemies. Its seems like everyone was saying: Shin Jung Tae.

SPOILER...if you haven't seen episode 8 don't read any further**** Heads Up!!!

Did Poong Cha  kill Dobi leader Hwang Bong Shik?

It looks like this is a huge turning point. Shin Jung Tae kicks Shinjyo's butt, sort of... Shinjyo tries to come at Jung Tae without the sword but once Jung Tae gets it together he gets him pretty good. Unfortunately Shinjyo's swords gets Jung Tae.

Poong Cha comes to collect Jung Tae who was lying on the ground seemingly life less. SPOILER!!!! Poong Cha dies lying on Jung Tae. The scene brought tears to my eyes.

The Show ends with Mo Il-hwa coming to collect Shin Jung Tae. The last scene is Mo about to fight Gaya.

HOW ABOUT I AM JUST REALIZING THAT MO IL HWA IS PLAYED BY SONG JAE RIM OMG OMG OMG HELLO...He was only one of Cha Chi Soo's hot besties in Flower Boy Ramen Shop, AND he was the King's RIGHT HAND MAN in The Moon Embracing the Sun!!!!

Guess I couldn't tell because of the haircut. I am so mad at myself for not realizing this... I see that he also must be in Two Weeks which is another drama I MUST WATCH!!!

BACK TO INSPIRING GENERATION....

I think my thoughts from a previous blog were correct. I was thinking that although we see adult Jung Tae, we still aren't caught up to where he was on episode one. We are still in back story. BUT I think that after episode 9 it will brings us to the present (well not our present but Jung Tae's present)

**** SPOILER****
What about Ok Reyeon? Who did she accidentally kill?  Well I guess Wednesday we will have our answers!!!

OH an anyone in love with Second Male Lead yet???
If not let me help you out:
